Government Funding

WIPSI

Government programs are available to fund employee training for technology adoption and utilization, including data analytics. Once such program in Nova Scotia is the Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WISPI). WISPI can cover up to 100% of the cost to employee training, up to $10,000.

CCM

Another program that may suit your organization's needs is the Commercialization Consulting and Mentoring (CCM) Program which funds consulting fees associated with bringing a new product to market. The CCM program currently funds 80% of consulting fees for eligible applicants.

Productivity and Innovation Voucher Program

This program connect companies based in NS with academics in NS. Vouchers are worth up to $15,000 for Tier 1 funding and $25,000 for Tier 2.

NRC-IRAP

The National Research Council (NRC) provides funding to connect businesses with academics through their Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) program.
